This class is for you if…

  • You already have a few basics in country line dancing and want to progress beyond the beginner level.
  • You want to practice in a real country bar atmosphere — livelier and more festive than a class in a gym.
  • You want a flexible option: come just for the class, just for the night, or stay for both.
  • You want to dance with the crew, make song requests and discover classics as well as new dances.

Complete beginner? Wednesday is Levels 2–4 — harder than the Monday beginner class (Level 2 — Beginner), but more accessible than the intermediate class (Level 4 — Intermediate). To start from zero, Sunday at Champfleury is probably a better starting point.

What is the night like?

You can come just for the class, just for the request night, or stay for the full experience.

Warm-up from 7:15 p.m.

From 7:15 to 7:30 p.m., we take the time to warm up, get settled and get into the mood.

The class starts at 7:30 p.m.

Cyntia starts with a review of the previous week’s dance — a second chance for your body to memorize the steps.

Dance of the week

We progress step by step, count by count. Sections are practiced one at a time, then we put it all together with the music. The class usually wraps up around 8:30 p.m.

Request night

Requests go directly to DJ Pascal Rotondo. We start with easier dances, then work up in difficulty as the night goes on.

Around 9 p.m. — practice block

We usually go back over the dances taught on Monday and Wednesday — a good time to lock in what you’ve just learned.

You learn, you practice, you watch others dance and you discover new choreographies as the night goes on.

Your teacher

You’ll dance with Cyntia

And for the request night, DJ Pascal Rotondo is the one spinning the songs.

Cyntia

Cyntia

Founder · Instructor · Host · Choreographer

Cyntia sets the tone at Wild Fox Country: contagious energy, clear explanations and a way of doing things that helps people feel comfortable fast.

On Wednesdays, she’s the one teaching the class at L’Étalon — in a clear, fun and high-energy atmosphere.

The L’Étalon vibe

Wednesday at L’Étalon is more than a class. It’s a social, dynamic country night that brings people together — more festive than a class in a gym.

You can absolutely come alone. Many people arrive on their own, and the atmosphere is designed so you quickly feel like you belong.

At Wild Fox Country, we keep it simple: fun, practice, a great crew and zero judgment.
