Laval (Sainte-Rose) · Ô Champfleury · Sunday afternoon
Level 1 — First Steps. Our gentlest option for starting from zero: a small group, a calm pace and the basics explained slowly — Sunday afternoons with Julie.
Level 1 — First Steps · Small group · No partner needed
It’s our gentlest option for taking your first steps with Wild Fox Country — easier than the Monday beginner class.
Already feel ready for a more sustained beginner class? The Monday beginner class at Jean-Piaget (Level 2 — Beginner) is the right next choice.
See the Monday beginner classA very beginner-friendly pace, clear explanations and plenty of time to practice.
Arrive a few minutes before class to get settled calmly, put on your indoor shoes and find your spot with the group. Even if it’s your first time, you won’t be left on your own.
We start by going over the dance learned the week before — a second chance for your body to memorize the moves.
The new dance is taught step by step, count by count. The moves are broken down clearly: directions, sections, gradual assembly, then music.
If there’s time left, we go back over dances learned in previous weeks. The more we repeat, the more natural the steps become.
We stay at Level 1 — First Steps, we take our time, and everyone can follow at their own pace, whatever their age or experience.
